"School is Not for Me" A new Children's Book Coming Soon

  Gaffi the Giraffe has had enough of 5th grade and he doesn't want to go to school anymore!

 I am currently  writing and illustrating a children's book geared toward students struggling in school. 

In my work as a special education teacher, I have noticed students have questions about special education... A LOT of questions!  I have seen anxiety when a student is in the special education referral process. They ask questions such as: Why am I being tested? Does this mean I am not smart? Will I have a new teacher? If I go to special classes, will I see my friends? These and other questions will be answered in "School is Not for Me".
